Color Your World

It’s good to incorporate the colors outside your house to the colors inside your home. When colors repeat, you get a good sense of cohesion. This also makes it easy to pick an original color scheme. Start inside the room looking out. Whatever you see make a note. Now go outside. Gather pieces of what caught your attention. Leaves, grass, wood, rock or gravel, bring these inside and place on white paper. Don’t forget the color of any water or sky you see. Blues can be very calming with other earth tones.

No matter where you live, what your view, you can always use what is right in front of you to create a masterpiece inside your home.
